The 5 Tibetan Rites

"An Antiaging Workout With Just 9 Minutes A Day!"

If you haven’t heard of the 5 Tibetan Rites before, it's not too surprising.

It’s not often that you get to hear about antiaging exercises that have been used for hundreds or thousands of years.

And this is what the 5 Tibetan Rites are about – they’re anti aging routines that you can do, starting with only 9 minutes a day.

That’s right.

You get anti aging benefits with just a short investment of time. As you go along and get fitter, you increase the reps (to a maximum of 22 for each exercise), and at the maximum length, it’ll take about 20 to 25 minutes a day.

So what are these Rites? And how are they anti aging for the body?

Well, let me start by explaining a basic thing about exercise.

Exercise is not only anti aging for the body, it’s also anti aging for the mind and emotions.

OK, let me go back a step.

It was only a short time ago that I met someone who was an intuitive, in that he could read the inner emotional and mental make up of a person with deadly accuracy, and see their emotional sabotages, in life, and he had this intuitive ability since a young age.

OK, you’ve heard of Carolyn Myss, the medical intuitive, who could diagnose from the age of about 18, just by being given a name and age, and who was used by surgeons in the US to diagnose cases that specialists couldn’t.

Well, this person was an intuitive in the other sense, in that he could see like reading a book in front of him, the exact emotional structure of a person and what sabotaged their success in life.

In fact he was so good, that he’s been used by CEO’s of many corporations to help themselves and their newly recruited staff for example, to get past their blocks to perform at 100% for their companies.

Anyway, we were at a meeting of people and there was a session on anti exercise by an antiaging fitness specialist who was demonstrating how to do certain exercises for building muscle to help with fat loss.

And anyway, what this guy saw as he explained afterwards, was that when someone exercised, he would see their chakras spin faster, become aligned, and then "push" negative emotion upwards out of the body!

I was beside myself, as it was the first time I saw exercise from this point of view.
And the interesting thing was, the Tibetans have been saying this about the 5 Rites for thousands of years (which are similar to certain yoga by the way) is that they help align and improve the spin of the chakras.

How’s that for correlation?

Anyway, if you’ve never read about chakras before, my statements just now could have freaked you out.

But from a more conventional point of view, what did I find with these exercises?

What I did first was, that I asked the anti aging fitness expert what routine he did that would be ideal for antiaging.

After all, if he was a fitness guru and taught heaps of people at his fitness studio, he must know something. And yes, his body was very terrific : )

He said that he did a combination of weight training and the 5 Tibetan Rites.

“Yes!” I thought, because my favourite training then was weights. Why?

Because I found that I lost fat so much easier with weights than any other training, including aerobics.

Put it this way, 3 hours of weights a week gave me twice (2 times) the results of 7 hours of aerobics a week. Anyway, for my discussion of why weights exercises work, see this page on weight training for antiaging.

I was very excited as I learned from him, and other sources that the 5 Rites had many benefits on the body and mind, and was also anti aging, in that it improved the spinning of the chakras, improved the muscle tone and helped fat loss by stimulating the glands of the body including the thyroid gland, and helped regulate the mind and emotions.

So I tried it out.

And what did I find?

Well, firstly the 5 Rites at the beginning only took about 9 minutes a day.

So it could easily be done at anytime.

So to read more about the 5 Rites, you can visit this page here which has pictures and the descriptions of how to do the 5 Rites.

And the benefits were these:

1

My core strength improved (abs and buttocks were more toned and felt stronger)

2

My posture became more upright and improved generally, and this in turn affected my stamina.

3

Each time after I finish the 5 Rites, I felt a sense of freedom in my breathing, and had an improved sense of confidence.

4

My mental alertness and concentration was a bit better for the next several hours.

5

My appetite became more regulated and I craved even healthier foods.

These were great benefits, and I noticed them almost immediately.

In the same week, I saw a friend of mine I haven’t seen for ages, and she looked as fit and as vibrant as anyone I know and she was in her late 50s though she looked like she was only in her mid 40’s. What was part of her secret? She does yoga every morning, and has done so for the past 20 years.

Hmmm, maybe not so much of a coincidence?

So there it is.

The 5 Rites are 5 exercises that you do, starting with 5 repetitions of each exercise at the beginning. As you get fitter, you increase them to 22 repetitions.

But it’s such a simple thing that you can do.

And there’s another advantage too. You can take this exercise with you anywhere, like when you’re travelling.

So if you haven’t done so already, you can try the 5 Rites and see how it benefits you.
