Athena 7 Minute Lift Review

Did you know that every since Athena 7 Minute Lift came out in the US a few years ago, and in the UK as well in November 2007, that it made quite a few headlines?

Why? Because there was heaps of talk about how a wrinkle cream could really work in 7 minutes.

Could it?

And I tested the cream on half my face to compare to the other side – something you should do to really test out a cream. No need to imagine what the cream did, you just need to look.

Plus I compared the results with that of LifeCell, the other wrinkle cream that’s been said on many websites to be one that work as well.

I was at an age when I started to get lines and wrinkles especially on my forehead (crease lines), under the eyes (several deep lines that make me look “washed out”), and crow’s feet, which were getting more noticeable as the years went by.

My friends started to get the same skin aging signs as I did, and we’re all in our 40’s and I wanted to look a bit younger, especially at work when I’m with people.

So I ordered the Athena, and it came in a package including a DVD, and concealer brush.

And the DVD showed me how to apply the cream with the brush, and it said to stay “expressionless” for 7 minutes, while Athena did its work.

In the video, you see a woman’s wrinkles gone away and lifted in 7 minutes.

Well, we'll see about that...

I opened the jar and used the brush, moistened it, and then applied the cream on half my face.

The results:

Then I could feel the cream working.

I felt my skin ever so slightly tighten and lift up, and as I looked in the mirror, over the 7 minutes, the lines around my eyes disappeared.

I really looked real hard, and I could see that the crow’s feet and lines and bags under my eyes were gone - totally gone.

I had always had those lines and bags for years, no matter what I tried. And they were reversed in 7 minutes.

This was really great because I just looked younger.

I could see that my cheek and eye areas were subtly lifted – and this made me look like I did about 10 years ago when I had that nice muscle tone and definition.

And even the creases on my forehead were much shallower, and my skin just looked smooth overall.

So overall, I was very impressed.

I thought that the package arrived quickly as promised, the DVD with the lady who was the “application expert” was very helpful, and most important of all, the cream worked to get me to look younger and the crow’s feet and bags gone in 7 minutes.

The main thing was that it worked - just as the name says.

How did this compare to the LifeCell?

My results with LifeCell was ‘quite good’ in that my face overall looked smoother and forehead lines a bit better, but my "crow’s feet" and bags under the eyes were nowhere near as good as with the Athena.

I found that the Athena was more effective, because it gave me a lift in my skin and it got rid of crow’s feet and the bags under the eyes as well.

Other says they like the LifeCell, but I like the Athena better.

Any downsides to the Athena?

Well if you use too much on your skin, you'll see a white colored residue on the skin. To get rid of this, use a bit of moisture on the brush to work the cream in some more.

But when you get practice of how much Athena to apply (ie not too much), then you won't get this effect. So it's not a problem once you've put on Athena a few times.

The price is $89 for a full jar, and this lasts 60 days.

Because it works, I say the Athena is great value for money.

So my advice?
